I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy
and abide by its code of ethics.
Qualifications
Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling.
Advanced Diploma in Counselling.
Experience
For many years I was a staff welfare officer with the Scottish Prison
Service this involved one to one counselling with prison staff.
I have extensive experience of working with a range of issues including:
Abuse, Adoption, Anger Management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer,
Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Eating disorders, Phobias,
Relationships, Sexuality, Stress Management.
My approach has evolved from my training in Transaction Analysis
to include other disciplines such as person centred and cognitive
behavioural therapy. I have had a private practice since 2000.
